Based on life stage, specialty interests, unique time slots and deeper pursuits....
Swing & Grind Kettlebell
Swing and grind kettlebell classes are a series of progressive training sessions
designed to improve overall fitness and achieve mastery in the many kettlebell
techniques. The classes require prior kettlebell training, preferably at least level
one workshops offered at Lion's Breath. It is suggested that students with the
level one training progress to level two in order to become familiar with using
two kettlebells.
Please be sure to have completed at least one workshop before dropping in!
Sahaj Yoga
SAHAJ is a natural and spontaneous approach to HathaYoga. The practice moves us to more directly connect, commune, integrate and participate in the moment as Love In Action. It is inherently joyous, enthusiastic, unforcedand is empowering and full of Light-Prakash. With awareness, sensitivity, and sincere devotion, the student is encouraged and invited to let the inner wisdom guide and surrender to the healing light and wisdom within. In essence, this practice encourages us to Sweat our Prayers.
Candlelit Flow
Candlelit flow is a retreat for the body and the senses.The first half of the class involves a thoughtful and engaging flow with a focus on breath and alignment. The flow is balanced by a soft and gentle restorative practice with a focus on rest and relaxation. Come treat yourself to thistherapeutic yoga class done in the soft glow of candlelight.
Rock and Restore
There is a constant ebb and flow in our lives. Sometimes things are good, sometimes not so much. We work hard, but often don't take thetime for ourselves...the time to rest, and slow down. Challenge is important and fulfilling, but it is just as important to stop. Listen. Breathe. Join me for a mix of hard work and total restoration in this class. The first half we will flow through a series of poses with a new focus each week. The second half of the class we will totally let go and let the transformation and healing begin.
R&B Ashtanga
This class is an ashtanga beginner class designed to uplift and energize your day. Musical accompaniment is mellow yet positive and inspiring.
Acro-Yoga
Acro-Yoga (acrobatic yoga) is a form of yoga always done in partnership where one person is the base, the other the flyer. Not only is the most fun ever...ever...ever, it also is great at building friendship and teamwork as well as communication skills. You do not have to be a seasoned yoga practitioner. You would however need some yoga experience. No partner necessary.
Prenatal Yoga
Gives the expectant mom a nurturing experience to help prepare for labour and motherhood. You will be surrounded by other like-minded women in the same life stage and led by a knowledgeable instructor who will support you on this physical, emotional and spiritual journey. Learn tools for relaxation that can be applied to every aspect of your life.
