Swing & Grind Kettlebell
Swing and grind kettlebell classes are a series of progressive training sessions
designed to improve overall fitness and achieve mastery in the many kettlebell
techniques. The classes require prior kettlebell training, preferably at least level
one workshops offered at Lion's Breath. It is suggested that students with the
level one training progress to level two in order to become familiar with using
two kettlebells.
R&B Ashtanga
This class is an ashtanga beginner class designed to uplift and energize your day. Musical accompaniment is mellow yet positive and inspiring.
Rocket Self Practice
This is your chance to come to an open class and practice what you want to practice. This class is not instructor led, however the instructor is there to assist and instruct on deepening into poses of your choice. The type, depth or nature of the practice is your choice. You can however benefit from the knowledge of the instructor as well as the support of other like-minded individuals.
Yoga Body Rolling
Body rolling uses a small ball to work out all the kinks that yoga or pilates cannot access and breaks down tightness and scar tissue in order to bring fresh oxygenated blood to the cranky areas of your body. This class is designed to compliment other types of preventative and rehabilitative therapies like massage, rolfing, ART and physio therapy. This class allows you to take your healing into your own hands at a fraction of the cost.
Prenatal Partner Yoga
A chance to celebrate “union” with a loved one. Step into the moment together. Stop and sniff the roses along your journey to parenthood. Share the ebb and flow of your pregnancy and tune into your partner’s experience through yoga built for two.
Postnatal Yoga
Post natal yoga offers mothers an opportunity to relax and bond with their babies. New mothers come together to strengthen, tone and rejuvenate body and mind. Babies up to crawling age and new walkers are welcome. New Pilates special class added focusing on the perineum and core strengthening after baby is born.
Acro-Yoga
Acro-Yoga (acrobatic yoga) is a form of yoga always done in partnership where one person is the base, the other the flyer. Not only is the most fun ever...ever...ever, it also is great at building friendship and teamwork as well as communication skills. You do not have to be a seasoned yoga practitioner. You would however need some yoga experience. No partner necessary.
Prenatal Yoga
Gives the expectant mom a nurturing experience to help prepare for labour and motherhood. You will be surrounded by other like-minded women in the same life stage and led by a knowledgeable instructor who will support you on this physical, emotional and spiritual journey. Learn tools for relaxation that can be applied to every aspect of your life.
